Business Development Manager

for the Prettl Mechatronics & Actuators GmbH in the US



We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Associate to join our team, focusing on the agriculture and industrial markets. In this role, you will play a crucial part in generating leads, nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth. If you have a passion for agriculture, industrial applications, and a knack for building relationships, we would love to hear from you!

Your tasks:

  • You're responsible to conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends
  • It's in your task profile to generate and qualify leads through various outreach methods, including cold calls, emails, and social media
  • The collaboration with the sales team to develop targeted strategies for outreach and engagement is one of your main topics 
  • You will schedule meetings and product demonstrations with prospective clients
  • You're responsible for keeping records of interactions and follow-up measures 
  • As well as assisting in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals
  • You attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and network with potential clients

Your qualifications:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering 
  • With your strong interest or experience in agriculture and industrial sectors you can identify with our company 
  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to communicate optimally with our stakeholders 
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving is one of your strengthen 
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is a matter of course for you
  • Your profile is rounded off by the ability to work both -independently and collaboratively within a team
