Sales Manager (m/f/d)

for Prettl Lighting & Interior GmbH in Detroit, MI, North America

Job description:

  • Preparation of product cost calculations and offers in the acquisition and series phase as well as evaluation of costs and product changes
  • Maintenance of relationships with the existing key accounts (OEMs), acquisition of new series projects and customers
  • Interface function to the customer and the internal departments
  • Preparation and conduct of negotiations and offer presentations
  • Represent the product range at trade fairs and conferences
  • Analyze the markets, define sales strategies and develop sales concepts
  • Sales responsibility for North America
  • Monitor and control the sales results in North America
  • Feasibility studies, negotiation of engineering & design projects, change management

Requirement profile:

  • Confident handling of well-known automobile manufacturers (OEMs), knowledge of common quality and project management standards
  • Experience in building and expanding customer relationships, project management experience, very good technical understanding
  • Strong customer orientation, independent, proactive working style, very good analytical skills
  • Sound business knowledge, communication skills, persuasiveness and negotiating skills
  • Presentation security, resilience, flexibility, solution orientation, determination, team spirit
