We are looking for a

Technical Managing Director, Bulgaria

to take over and expand a factory with 500 employees in Bulgaria

Your tasks:

  • You are entrepreneurial and experienced in leadership, have a university degree in engineering, for example, with a focus on manufacturing technology or automation, and are familiar with the specifics of a plastic injection molding plant with discrete mass production.
  • You have resilient experience in the management and networking of cross-site production structures in cooperation with local managers. Decisive knowledge in proven production systems with corresponding methods and tools are essential components of your competence profile.
  • Field-proven experience with common ERP systems (preferably SAP), fluent English as well as the willingness to travel to European locations complete your profile.
  • As a team player you are convincing, proactive, strong in conception and implementation, willing to design, innovative and creative and have an entrepreneurial and strategically oriented view
  • The relocation of the private center of life to the vicinity of the headquarters is required.

Your skills:

  • As a member of the management team, you will report directly to the shareholder and have a management span of approximately 500 employees.
  • You will primarily be responsible for the operational areas at the Bulgarian location, but will also perform cross-group tasks within the company in the sense of a matrix responsibility. In addition to being responsible for the development and achievement of strategic and operational goals related to the technical areas, you will be a driving force for fundamental improvements, particularly in the areas of production and logistics, and will use modern methods to establish cross-site standards and best practice solutions.
  • You will enable the entire Group to efficiently manage further planned growth. In this respect, the role also has a strong strategic character. With a high level of personal commitment, you will be involved in important projects and ensure the stringent execution and success of the measures.
